What is your minimum order?

£50.00 excluding VAT and excluding any discounts (this is subject to change at our discretion)

What are your postage charges?

£4.95 to mainland UK (free for order over £100.00).

£10.00 to the Scottish Offshore Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland (free delivery for orders over £100.00).

£25.00 to the Channel Islands and Mainland Europe/EU Countries (free delivery for orders over £250.00).

All other areas will be subject to an additional surcharge, calculated according to purchase volume and destination.

What are the delivery times?

On receipt of your delivery you will be asked to sign for your goods. Therefore any delivery addresses provided must always be occupied (unless we have agreed to deliver to a specific delivery agent).

For orders received before 3:00pm, delivery is usually:

1 to 2 working days for Mainland UK

2 to 3 working days for Scottish Offshore Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland.

7 working days for the Channel Islands and Mainland Europe. Unfortunately we can not offer you an exact time or date of delivery.

Can I pay by cheque or by bank transfer?

At the end of the order you can place your order on Proforma. This will allow you to send your cheque or make a bank transfer. Cheques can be made payable to “Amber Jewellery Ltd” We will hold your order for a maximum of 14 days.

5:

How can I make a bank transfer?

Goods will be dispatched on confirmation from our bank that the payment has cleared. Please quote your account number on the transfer so we can identify the payment. Our bank details for the transfer of funds are as follows:

Do you charge VAT to customers outside the UK?

For Sales to EU countries we will require your VAT number and your registered Company name and address, otherwise VAT will be charged at the current UK rate.

VAT will not be charged for countries outside the EU providing we have satisfactory evidence of export.

7:

What is your returns policy?

· Any Goods which you believe are defective must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase (there is no need to telephone us).

· For hygiene reasons we do not accept returns on worn earrings or body jewellery.

· We do not send out replacements. We will send you a credit note within 2-3 weeks on receipt of your return of goods which we agree are defective through faulty workmanship.

· We recommend using recorded delivery and keeping proof of postage.

· Returns are sent at your own expense.

· Please note - imitation jewellery will go off colour, especially metal based jewellery. Time for discolouration will depend on their use and the environment in which they are worn or stored. We are unable to credit you for goods that have discoloured.

How do I use a credit note?

Credit Notes are automatically assigned by the accounts department when an order is received your payment be reduced by the credit amount.

Do you allow copying of the images on your website?

We can allow you to use images of our products but you are not allowed to use any images containing models (persons). Please see our full Terms & Conditions.

Can I buy goods for my personal use?

No! We insist that you must buy for the purpose of resale. We do not sell for personal use.

Our minimum order is £50.00.

Are you products compliant with EU Legislation?

All Our Products comply with the European Reach Directive. We have an in house testing laboratory in order to test each of our products which includes a XRF Spectrophotometer for elemental content testing. We in-house batch test every line that has metal parts that could come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin for Nickel release. We spot check our results by using third party verification. 

We are part of our Trade Association monitoring group that keeps us up to date with the latest requirements in REACH, Toy Safety, RoHS II and other EU legislation.

If I am not at home will the driver leave the goods in the back garden etc.

No the parcel must be signed for. You must provide an address where you can assure full time occupancy.

13:

What happens if I am not here when the goods arrive?

The driver will return the goods back to our warehouse. You may be charged for return postage!

14:

Can you guarantee stock?

Our stock is highly fashionable. We produce three catalogues each year. We turnover our stock very quickly. Lines will sell out quickly. This is an inevitable part of our business.

15:

Do the items on the website include VAT?

No VAT is not included in the prices. VAT will be charged separately on your invoice.

16:

Can I order below £50.00 and pay postage?

We cannot supply goods below £50.00.

Do you offer a “Sale or Return” on your products?

No.

18:

Does each item come with a display card and barcode?

Yes! Although a very small range is not bar-coded.

19:  Can I get my own carriers to collect my goods? Yes! Please contact our Customer Service Department.
 
20:

Some of the items from your catalogue are not on the website?.

Our website is up to date. If the item does not appear on the website then the product is out of stock.

21:

Do you sell to wholesalers and large volume buyers.

Yes we specialise in volume distribution. Please contact our Sales Department.

22:

May I order a few items to see the quality and actual size?.

Sorry we do not send out samples. We do have a cash & carry showroom based in Manchester. You are able to visit in order to view the style and quality.
